Don’t have your own horse to ride? Problem solved!
Come out and ride one of our horses (or bring your own horse) on our adult social rides! As the name suggests, you get to meet some other wonderful, horse loving people, and have an invigorating, fun ride that’s a great stress reliever and a real moral boost!
This option gives you all the joy of riding, without the responsibility or cost of owning a horse. All rides are accompanied and can be as low key or challenging as you want. There are several different days we go out from 5.30 – 6.30pm during daylight savings and 4.30 -5.30pm non daylight savings, and we try to group people with similar riding abilities together.
We have well trained, quiet, sensible horses with options ranging from plodders who only want to walk, through to ones with a bit more pep for experienced riders. All tack and a helmet is supplied.
Cost:
$50 for an hour, per person, if you pay for a term at a time*.
$60 for an hour, per person, if you pay week by week, for a weekly or fortnightly commitment.
$75 for an hour if you don’t come weekly or fortnightly
$25 If you bring your own horse
*For $50 a week social ride, full fees must be paid at the start of the term. No refund given if you don’t come, but if you let me know before the start of the week that you can’t come to your regular day, I can try and add you to another day to make up for it. For most of the year we will ride even if its raining. However at the start and end of the season, sometimes we do have to cancel due to slippery tracks or the end of daylight savings. If we do cancel, a refund or credit for another ride will be given.
