$2300 includes gst (4-5 weeks generally)
Our definition of a well started horse is one that anyone with good sensible horse experience can comfortably handle. It includes ground work, bareback riding, feet handling, saddle and bridle, being ridden in a rope halter, road and farm riding which includes hills, mud and creeks, being ridden in a group and alone. You will see your horse being ridden at a walk, trot, and canter, go forward, back up, stop, turn left, right etc, on a light rein.
Many people ask “How long will it take?” That is tailored to each individual horse but the payment covers 4-5 weeks and Zane will contact people very early on if he identifies extraneous issues which might foresee it going longer than the expected time frame of 4-5 weeks. A plan of attack regarding time frame and any extra charges will be discussed at this point but as a guideline $450 per extra week after the initial 5 weeks.
Zane also gives updates on your horses progress via text/messenger as well as video clips.
Once the horse is ready to be picked up, Zane will spend an hour with you and your horse, where he can demonstrate what he has taught them and get you riding the horse so horse and rider start out the new journey together on the same page.

Zane worked with him, taught him to trust, and in due course encouraged him to not only accept a rider but actually enjoy being ridden. Kim Lewis Zane took in my Clydesdale Fergus and started him for riding over a 6 week period. I could be described as an over protection owner but this was taken in Zane’s stride with regular updates and putting me at ease! Fergus has returned home and is an absolute pleasure to ride, he listens to voice and can be ridden with or without a bit. We have taken him out over farms and he has ridden like he has had someone on his back for years not weeks.
